What is the KFSA?
The KFSA is the parent-led organization of Koraes Elementary School and serves as the fundraising arm governed by the Koraes School Board. Our goal is to create additional fundraising opportunities that enhance the educational experience for our teachers, staff, and students while fostering strong school spirit, community service, and community engagement.
How do I get involved?
The KFSA meets monthly, typically on the first Thursday of each month. Meetings alternate between mornings (8:45 a.m.) and evenings (6:00 p.m.), with a virtual option offered for both to accommodate all schedules. Meetings generally last 1–2 hours and are held on school grounds.
What events and fundraisers does the KFSA organize?
KFSA hosts a wide range of events throughout the year — from in-school programs such as Hot Lunches, Classroom Parties, Book Fair, Teacher Appreciation Week, Thanksgiving Feast, and Santa’s Secret Shop, to larger community events and service opportunities like the Junior Olympics concession stands, Fall Fest, Santa Brunch, Lenten Dinner, Winter Dances, and running the food line at the SSCH Palos Hills Greek Fest.
