Our Mission

At Koraes Elementary School, our primary goals are to promote intellectual development, reinforce cultural awareness and social responsibility, and foremost, to work with the families of our students to instill the spiritual, moral and ethical values of the Greek Orthodox faith.  Our students are prepared to think critically through a challenging curriculum, communicate effectively through a bilingual language arts program and act independently in preparation for life in a complex, ever-changing society.  Taking advantage of small class sizes, our valued, highly competent teachers assure each student individual attention in a friendly, safe, and nurturing environment, while challenging them academically.  Serving the greater Chicago area since 1910, Koraes is open to all children of Orthodox faith.
